Presenting a one-of-a-kind, exquisite abstract fused glass art bowl, this sculptural masterpiece lacks a flat bottom, elegantly tilting to allow light to gracefully illuminate its captivating design. Crafted with a clear glass base and adorned with glass powders in shades of gray, cream, and white, this bowl features hand created designs on both sides, creating a mesmerizing sense of depth. Intended for decorative use, it requires gentle hand washing.

About the artistic process: Following two firings to achieve the desired design, this bowl was created using the 'drop-out' vessel technique. A fused glass blank is placed over a flat mold with a central hole, and it undergoes kiln firing. The glass gracefully slumps through the hole, taking on the form of a bowl. This meticulous process requires careful monitoring to achieve the desired shape. Once cooled, the bowl is separated from the glass ring left behind, and the edges are expertly ground and polished.
Materials + Care
Each piece is handcrafted using quality art glass and kiln-formed in my studio. Because every piece is made by hand, slight variations in color, pattern, texture, and shape are part of the process and make each piece uniquely yours.
Glass pieces can be gently cleaned with a soft, damp cloth or hand washed with mild soap and water when appropriate. Avoid abrasive cleaners, sudden temperature changes, and extreme heat. Any additional care or use instructions specific to an item will be noted in the product description.

Every order is carefully packed to help ensure your glass arrives safely. I use USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on the size, destination, and most economical shipping option available for your order. Tracking information will be provided once your package is on its way.
I want you to love your piece. If you need to return an item, please contact me within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original condition, and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
