Ashlee Valentine is a Missouri-based glass artist working primarily in kiln-formed glass. Although she has always been drawn to glass, she began working with fused glass in 2019 and is largely self-taught.

Inspired by nature, color, texture, and the way light changes glass, Ashlee creates pieces ranging from wall art and vessels to tabletop pieces, pocket vases, jewelry, and other functional objects meant to be enjoyed in everyday life. Her love of gardening, hiking, travel, and the natural world often finds its way into her work through botanical forms, organic patterns, and bold use of color.

Before turning to glass, Ashlee spent more than fifteen years as a portrait and wedding photographer. She holds a Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in photography, and that background continues to influence the way she approaches composition, color, light, and detail in her glass work.
